John Short teaches Acting for the Camera and Beginning Acting at Loyola Marymount University. He co-founded the Barn in 1994. In his twenty years in the theater, John has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in major regional theaters including the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Syracuse Stage, and the Kennedy Center. He has been nominated for the prestigious Drama Desk Award for Supporting Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Tom Sawyer in Big River. As a teacher, John has taught seminars in colleges and universities across the country, and at the nationally renowned Camp Bravo summer workshop in the San Bernardino Mountains. He has taught the apprentice company at a regional theater and is in his sixth year of teaching at the Barn.- Producer

Buddy Logan is brother of Jimmy Logan, comedian and actor, and Annie Ross, Jazz singer and actress. They were members of Scotland's famous theatrical family, The Logan Family. Acted from the age of 11 in various TV productions including: This Man Craig; Doctor Finlay's Casebook; The Revenue Men; Burns (with John Cairney) and in the film Flash the Sheepdog. After working back stage for my uncle at his New Metropole Theatre I attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and became a stage and company manager, working primarily for Bernard Delfont productions and Harold Fielding productions. Was Tommy Steel's stage manager for 10 years, including 1 year run in the West End and in Australia, Denmark, Sweden and Japan. Moved to Front of House at the Churchill Theater Bromley for 24 years. Now presenting entertaining talks on theatre.
